Web design & development, Hosting & Email

Websites, Hosting & Email for UK SMEs

Professional, fast and structured for search, with hosting, email and workspace setup handled too.

Your website is the first thing a potential customer sees. If it's slow, outdated, or doesn't show up on Google, you lose trust before a conversation even starts. We build websites that look like they belong to a business your size or bigger, load properly on mobile, and are structured for search engines from day one. We also set up your business email, migrate your team to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and manage hosting and backups on an ongoing basis.

    Questions

Websites, hosting and Microsoft 365 questions

How much does a small business website cost?

We quote a fixed price after a short scoping call, because the cost depends on the number of pages, who writes the content and whether the site needs bookings, payments or integrations. Hosting and domains are separate running costs, and we set those out before you commit. See how pricing works.

How long does a new website take?

You receive a timeline before any work starts. The biggest variable is rarely the build. It is usually how quickly content, photographs and approvals come together, so we agree who provides what at the outset.

Can you set up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for us?

Yes. We set up accounts, migrate existing email and files, and configure the security settings most small businesses miss: multi-factor authentication, SPF, DKIM and DMARC for email, and sensible sharing defaults. Read our Microsoft 365 setup checklist or our comparison of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

Will we own the website, domain and accounts?

That is the aim of this work. We consolidate and document every domain, DNS record, hosting account and admin login, so the business has a clear record of what it owns and nobody is locked out when a supplier or member of staff moves on.

Will the website show up on Google?

We build the technical foundations search engines rely on: page titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, fast loading on phones and a Google Business Profile that matches your site. That is a one-off setup rather than a monthly SEO retainer. Our guide to technical SEO basics explains what is covered.

Can you improve our existing website instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. We review what is in place first. If the structure is sound, fixing speed, content and calls to action is usually quicker and cheaper than a rebuild. Our article on when a website no longer reflects the business covers the signs that a rebuild is the better option.
